With effect from January 1, 2026 no imported dog of 1 year or older will be registered without HD/ED. Those imported without required certification will be required to undergo the tests in Tunisia.
All dogs in the current breeding program must go through the HD/ED diagnosis process before January 1, 2026 .
All breed surveys for dogs and bitches that do not clear the HD/ED test will be cancelled from January 1, 2026.
Dogs that have been breed surveyed for life, prior to 2026 shall be exempt.
No dog or bitch can appear for Breed Survey without HD/ED, DNA and AD test being passed and recorded on documents and the ATCBA database.
No dog or bitch can be presented at shows without HD/ED or DNA after 15 months of age.
After January 1, 2026, dogs carrying an HD/ED certification of “Nochzugelassen” / “Just Allowed” will not be allowed a grading of VA, in the open classes or the top 5 SGs in Youth and Junior classes, at the Tunisia Sieger Show.
Only radio-graphs taken by the following ATCBA Certified veterinarians, in the presence of the local Group Breed Warden, shall be accepted and sent for analysis by the ATCBA.
